First Year Experience Courses
UNO’s First Year Experience courses, also known as University Seminar 1010, are designed to enhance first year academic success, help you meet other students, give you a chance to work closely with faculty, and encourage active learning. FYE courses focus on college success strategies and orientation to college life.
This 1-credit hour class meets twice a week for the first 10 weeks of semester.
FYE is limited to students who have earned 15 or fewer credit hours and have not earned a passing grade in a previous FYE course, BSAD 1500, or University Seminar (US 1010 or 1020), or with the permission of the instructor. Students may enroll in only one of the following courses: BSAD 1500, US 1010 or US 1020.
